Global Rights for Women will be conducting a nine day workshop for delegations coming from Georgia, Armenia and Bulgaria. Participants will spend three days in Duluth, the home of the “Duluth Model” of CCR, in a training lead by the Domestic Abuse Intervention Programs and observe the Duluth Model in practice. The remainder of their stay will be in the Twin Cities where they will meet with experts, observe court hearings, reflect on the Duluth training and plan implementation strategies of the lessons learned. The workshop builds upon the success of last year’s event that was attended by delegations of government and NGO representatives from Lithuania, Latvia and Tajikistan and individual participants from Kazakhstan, Pakistan and Trinidad and Tobago.
The CCR workshop is not open to the public.
