Caroline Alkire is the Administrative Associate at Global Rights for Women. She received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont in 2017, where she studied Political Science and Global Studies, and participated in a study abroad program in Nepal focusing on the effects of globalization within a developing community through interactions with leaders in education, healthcare, and development. Caroline worked as an intern at the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program while completing her undergraduate degree, helping newly arrived refugee clients successfully integrate into new communities. She joined Global Rights for Women as an intern after moving back to Minnesota, and has developed a passion for women’s rights on both a local and international scale, and an interest in international nonprofit work.
