Attending the Global Rights for Women Annual Luncheon

The Global Rights for Women Annual Luncheon is our opportunity to unite as a community, for the common goal of creating a future where women and girls can live free from violence. Join us for this downtown lunch hour event, in celebration of women’s human rights, and the work done by leaders ending violence against women and girls across the world. In 2016, we welcomed Gloria Steinem as our keynote speaker, in 2017, local musician and community advocate Dessa, and in 2018 Eve Ensler, author of the Vagina Monologues.

At our 2019 event, over 450 community members came together to support the current worldwide efforts to address violence against women and girls. We were inspired by international human rights leaders Imrana Jalal, groundbreaking human rights Attorney and Vice President at the World Bank; Pille Tsopp-Pagan, President of Women Against Violence Europe; and Cheryl Thomas, Global Rights
for Women CEO.

Join us in 2020 to become a part of the collective movement to end violence against women and girls in our Minnesota
community and worldwide. Event and Sponsorship information will be available in the Spring of 2020. For general event
inquiries, please email nwazirzada@grwomen.org.
