We are inviting you to Global Rights for Women NOW: A Global Gathering in Solidarity to End Violence Against Women on October 2, 2020.
Global Rights for Women NOW is the live gathering in solidarity of women’s human rights featuring international leaders, musicians, artists and people like you who are the changing the world by raising their voices together.
This powerful, global gathering will feature speakers Judge Rosemarie Aquilina who convicted Dr. Larry Nassar to 175 years in prison for the 2018 USA Gymnastics sexual abuse case. GRW’s international colleague Vita Randazzo, Gender Specialist at United Nations Honduras, and GRW Executive Director and renowned women’s international human rights lawyer, Cheryl Thomas, will also speak. The event will be fast paced and impactful, with special guest appearances from nationally-acclaimed musicians and artists. You won’t want to miss it!
Around the globe, 30% of women are at risk of domestic violence, and isolation during COVID-19 has increased this violence by up to 20% in many countries including our own. By attending this event, all of your ticket purchase proceeds and support will go directly towards changing these realities for the millions of women and girls who are survivors and at risk of violence in our community and worldwide.
Tickets are now available for Global Rights for Women Now on October 2nd, 2020. Join us in celebration of women’s human rights and support the critical work of creating a world free of violence. Tickets, sponsorship, and partnership opportunities can also be found here.
