Laura Wilson is a staff attorney at Global Rights for Women. She previously practiced in immigration law and youth law with Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid, where she represented many survivors of gender-based violence. Prior to going to law school, Laura worked in community organizing around immigrant rights issues in Minnesota. She also lived in Guatemala, where she volunteered for the fair trade nonprofit Sharing the Dream and interviewed Maya elders for a book of stories about their lives. Laura is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Justice from Hamline University.
