Social Media Consultant
Hanna graduated with her Master of Human Rights with a concentration in global gender studies from the University of Minnesota in 2022. She received her BA in Communication with minors in Political Science and Global Studies at Florida Gulf Coast University. During her undergraduate career, Hanna became interested in the role of communication in promoting feminist causes, and worked on numerous issues such as gender-based violence, education and social inclusion for women and girls. During graduate school, she worked with Women for Women International as a Communications Officer, leading social media campaigns to promote women’s economic and social power in conflict affected regions. In addition to her current role at Global Rights for Women, she works for Data2X at the United Nations Foundation as a Communications and Advocacy Associate. In her role, she works to improve the quality, availability, and use of gender data to make a practical difference in the lives of women and girls worldwide. She is based in Washington, DC.
