Sophia Kulow

Sophia is a recent 2023 graduate from the University of Minnesota, where she obtained her B.A. in Global Studies with concentrations in Human Rights and Latin America and minors in Sustainability and Fashion Studies. As an undergraduate, Sophia spent her time as the Marketing Director of Radio K. In January 2023, she created and managed a month-long residency at First Avenue’s 7th St Entry with twelve local Twin Cities bands. She was the Communications and Research Intern at Global Rights for Women for over a semester, fueling her passion for ending gender-based and domestic violence. Through her work at GRW and Radio K, she discovered the powerful impact that communications and creating community-centered programs have on bringing people together to make a difference.
